This is a set of books designed for a newspaper reading class offered by Chinese programs in the United States and American study-abroad language programs within China. The whole set includes two volumes; each volume contains eight topics, and each topic has a main text and a supplementary text, discussions, new words, and explanations of morphemes, function words and sentence patterns.
