About the Author
Bing He is a poet and artist who writes in both Chinese and English. She was born in Beijing, China and is now living in Ottawa, Canada. She has published Chinese prose in Chinese and North American newspapers and journals. Her first English poetry book Alphabetic Zen has attracted much attention since its publication in 2005 and has brought her interviews with CBC, Radio Canada International and Xinhua News Agency. She has attended Ottawa International Writers Festival and Montreal Blue Metropolis International Festival and has received art grants on visual art and poetry from the City of Ottawa. Her paintings have been exhibited in art galleries.

冰荷，诗人、画家，擅用中英文双语写作。生长于北京，现居加拿大渥太华。中文散文散见于大陆及北美的报刊。她的第一本英文诗集《字母禅》2005 年出版后，引起了广泛关注，并因此受到加拿大广播电台、加拿大国际广播电台及新华社的采访。她曾先后参加渥太华国际作家节、蒙特利尔蓝调国际大都会节，并曾获得渥太华市绘画和诗歌创作资金。她的绘画作品也已经在画廊展出。
