Information about Wenzhou
Wenzhou (温州) is a city in southeastern Zhejiang province situated in a mountainous region at the River Ou (瓯江), about 30km off the East China Sea. Wenzhou is the economic and cultural center of south Zhejiang province. In the Wenzhou Edition of Happy China you can discover the scenic beauty of the region in a an entertaining manner, like the Baizhang Waterfall scenic spot and its compromising ten sightseeing areas, Mt. Yandang, one of the earliest National Parks in China and picturesque Nanxi River, located on the northern bank of the Ou River.

About the textbook
This book uses simplified Chinese characters and English annotations. Pinyin annotation is provided in the new words list only. Apart from the language materials presented in the program, Words and Expressions, Notes Substitution Drills and Conversations are provided in each book of the series, among which Words and Expressions and Notes are accompanied with brief English translations or explanations.
