This useful guide lists the HSK vocabulary of levels 1-3 by frequency - based on evaluations of former HSK examinations. Starting with very super-high frequency, high frequency, medium frequency, low frequency and zero frequency (this means that the word in question has not yet occurred in the evaluated tests, but may well occur in the future). Please note that not every volume in the series necessarily has to contain all levels. For example, in this volume of Levels 1-3, only the following categories are included: super high, high and medium frequency. A very useful book for self-learners as well as a reference for teachers and libraries. Each word in this book is annotated with: word in Chinese characters, Hanyu Pinyin and English translation as well as two example sentences in Chinese characters and Hanyu Pinyin. We consider this book very well suited to prepare for the HSK exam, to check your vocabulary skills and to prepare the HSK exam by frequency of words, this means if you do not have much time, you can learn the words with higher frequency first! As those words usually will appear in upcoming test also in high frequency.
