Contemporary Chinese Literature is an elective course book in the Erya Chinese series. This book combines teaching of literary history with appreciation of literary writers and works, containing an overview of contemporary Chinese literature and covering various literary forms such as fiction, prose, poetry and drama. Classical writers and works are included for introduction and appreciation. Apart from the text, there are other sections in each lesson, i.e. vocabulary notes, reading tips, cultural notes, classroom discussion, after-class exercises, brief summary and extracurricular reading tips, aiming to assist readers in better learning and using the book.

作者简介
李春雨，文学博士，教授，博士生导师。本科至博士就读于北京师范大学中文系，2004年获得博士学位。2009-2010年，赴美国西点军校外语系访学和任教。2012年获教育部霍英东教育基金会第十三届高校青年教师奖，并入选教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”。2013年入选“北京市青年英才计划”。 主要研究领域为中国现当代文学与文化、汉语国际教育文化传播。近年来，先后在《文艺研究》、《中国比较文学》、《北京师范大学学报》、《中国现代文学研究丛刊》、《鲁迅研究月刊》、《社会科学研究》等期刊发表学术论文四十余篇，其中多篇被人大报刊复印资料《中国现代、当代文学研究》全文转载。主持完成了多个省部级研究课题。代表性论著有中、英文版《中国文化?文学》、《出版文化与中国文学的现代转型》、《北京文化的异域审视》等，主编的教材有《中国现代文学资料与研究》、《中国现当代文学》等。
